Get This Podcast Discography [15 Mar 2008|10:38am] moukimokyu Get This was an Australian radio comedy show which aired on Triple M and was hosted by Tony Martin and Ed Kavalee, with contributions from panel operator Richard Marsland. A different guest co-host was featured on the show each day and included music played throughout. On the October 15 episode, the Get This team announced that Triple M/Austereo would not be renewing the show for 2008. The final broadcast was on November 23, 2007. During its lifetime Get This developed a strong cult following. Many in this community, I'm sure, would already be familiar with the comedy gold that was Get This, but for those who missed out, I'm in the process of uploading all 162 podcasts and archiving them here on LJ. British TGHY [02 Feb 2008|11:18pm] jenil Hey guys, being back in Britainland, I've only just realised that the UK version of TGYH has been on for a few weeks. D: I definitely prefer Shane Bourne as a presenter, as much as I love Paul Merton, he should stick to Have I Got News For You. Although I'm a bit gutted that the episode tonight didn't have Hamish Blake on. I love Hamish. ^_^ So, yeah, hopefully I'll watch it regularly. I mean, it doesn't have Angus, or Josh, or Merrick, or Cal... but, hey, it's a fix. Until I eventually get 'round to importing the DVDs... :] read (7) post comment

I know I've heard that Working Dog aren't going to do it, but then I saw something (ha, very vague with my sources, it was ... too long ago) that Channel 10 was claiming that there was going to be another season. !!! [17 Oct 2007|11:14am] aussiephil G'day all, I've just joined the comm and wanted to say hello. I don't get to watch TGYH when it's on, sadly, but I have the DVDs and really enjoy the show :) Anyway, my other reason for posting is I've got a TGYH meme happening over at my own LJ. It's based on the questions from the S1 play-at-home game, and I'm looking for more people to join in. I figured this would be the perfect place to find more players, and I'm sort of testing this out with hopes to make a comm out of it if it goes well. So if anybody is keen, it's over here if you want to check it out. I'd appreciate being friended by people who want to join in, but I welcome anybody :) Thanks! post comment

TGYH audience [04 Sep 2007|10:00pm] chief_85 I got to go in the studio audience for the finale of tgyh! It was excellent!
